BIO: Stephem Bloom

PIX-Bloom

Hon. Stephen Bloom was elected to represent Pennsylvania’s 199th District in 2010 on a simple platform: To grow jobs, we must cut government, cut taxes, and grow freedom. Bloom now applies that platform to set his conservative legislative agenda.

Prior to winning office, Bloom ran his own business law firm for eight years and was partner in another for seven years. He was an Adjunct Instructor of Management and Business at Messiah College, teaching economics, personal finance, and business law. He wrote “The Believer’s Guide to Legal Issues” (Living Ink Books) in 2008.

Bloom graduated from Penn State University (B.S., Agricultural Economics & Rural Sociology - Resource Economics Option) in 1983, and Dickinson School of Law (Woolsack Honor Society) in 1987.
